Laboratory services
On the campus, some departments and service units of the HZI offer research services. These are, for example, various high-performance microscopes, proteomics, recombinant protein expression, peptide synthesis, genome analysis, flow cytometry and cell sorting.
The Leibniz Institute DSMZ offers a comprehensive portfolio of services at the highest level. In addition to microbiological and biochemical analyses of microorganisms, authentication of human cell lines, detection and elimination of mycoplasma contaminations as well as plant virus diagnosis are available.
